At about 3:30 the AIS Conference Committee report SF 1115 passed off the House floor and needs only be signed by the governor to become law. The vote was 82 for and 49 against.
There were measures in the bill that had nothing to do with Aquatic Invasive Species, and these drew the thumbs down from a number of democrates.  The AIS portion could have been stronger, but is still a good first step.
 
Good work everyone and congratulations all around.  Committed and organized grass roots and good lobbying have once again proved the winning combination.
