Subject: AGENDA Lake assoc. meeting Sept 24
Hey neighbors -- just a reminder that our biennial Lake Association for 10th & 11th Crow Wing Lakes Association is this Saturday.

Attached in a PDF are minutes from spring meeting.

WHERE:  Crow Wing Crest Lodge (Cabin #3, the A-Frame -- front row of cabins.  Park at lodge or at any of the front row of cabins #1 - #5.  And yah, if anyone wants to peek at a few other cabins after the meeting just for fun, you'd be welcome).

WHEN:  Pre-Meeting pontoon cruise 9:30-10:30 a.m. (let's gather at 9:30 at the cabin, then we can bundle up with some hot coffee and take off at around 9:40 to look for patches of Curly Leaf Pondweed, view the culvert area, point out two of the areas where the Loon Nest Committee tried the loon nests this year, and whine about the beaver population --- we have two trees in front of Cabin #3 to show and tell in direct correlation to beaver problem.  So maybe instead of 'show and tell' it'll be more of a "go to h@!!, dang critter!" chat.  Whatever.  *sigh*)

Official meeting 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.  (I'll have snacks.)

OLD BUSINESS

Lake Management Plan - Kim Bowen    Plan is DONE!  Copy will be available at meeting for you to look thru (yah, all 77 pages).  $1,600 has been issued to us in reward from Foundation for getting it written. (Monies in $3,000 grant available to us – which project could we use it for? 50/50 matching funds, can use volunteer hours as matching credit.  Spring meeting talked about split between Fisheries project and Hwy 64 projects.  Shane Foley, of Hubbard Co. Soil & Water, our link to requesting grant money, has now moved out of area -- Kim B. will make contact with new person before meeting if possible.)
