Our name was Offley, my father was Arthur, I believe when we

lived in the house it was owned by someone called Funk, at any rate we

referred to it as the Funk house. . When we lived in the house I believe

could be the one on Broadway there was a movie house right across the street

and those people were Eslinger. A lady Mrs. Goodfellow also lived in our

house. Thank you for your time and any information I could get.  flofrost@comcast .net

To Whom it may concern, Akeley City Chamber of Commerce,

My sister and I, now age 76 and 78 are planning a trip this spring which

includes Akeley, in the late 30's our family lived in a house across the

street from a move theater, owned by a family named Eslinger, We have

searched on the internet and believe the house at 220 Broadway St, West is

that house. Do you have any information on old homes in Akeley, I believe

it was called the Funk house, I am not sure of that, it could be an

erroneous child memory. We intend to make a trip this Spring and would

appreciate it if you had information on such a house dating that far back.

Thank you. flofrost@comcast .net

Hi.

one would think the ARCC would have more up-to-date information on their website.

The DNR Fisheries office at Park Rapids will be able to answer your questions about Waboose Lake.  218-732-4153 or Delaney’s sport shop in Park Rapids – 218-732-4281.

Hi,

I was wondering how to get some detailed info on the fishing in your area. In particular, a lake just northwest of you, called Waboose. I haven't been able to find anything about it on MNR.website.  Perhaps a local sporting goods or bait shop? Phone numbers?  Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Mike Bennett 303-667-2186

Hello.  I live at 21073 Foothill trail and wonder if someone from the EHCFD would come out and take a look at the easement to my home to see if fire equipment, ambulances, etc. will be able to access my home, especially under winter conditions?

The easement appears to be narrow, winding and with some trees leaning in a manner which worries me about the passage of tanker trucks etc.

I will appreciate the inspection.

Thank you.
