I know this sounds odd, but I searched the internet for "spite and malace" looking for the rules of the card game. My grandmother and i used to play the game before she died, and now i cant remember how. This site came up from the search, so i figured i would take a shot at finding out if anyone could tell me how to play the game. Thanks so much for you help. Sincerely, Charlie

My family and I will be arriving to your area this coming Thursday (July 4, 2002). We are researching my great Grandmother and Great Grandfather who lived in your area. Their name was August and Anna Kostner. I know they both resided in Akeley up to the time of my Grandmothers death on January 8, 1907. I have been able to locate her name in the listing of the Akeley cemetery, but I have not been successfull in finding any other information on them, other than a marriage certificate when he remarried. He married Maria Honnssman on August 8, 1909. We are hoping to spend Friday going through any information on them that may exist in old documents. I understand that sometimes the best information would be in old church documents, however we do not know which religion they were or which church they may have attended. We would also like to visit the grave site of Anna Kostner, at the Akeley cemetery. I would appreciate someone contacting me with the address of the cemetery, and how we might find it. Also, any additional information that could be provided regarding the family would be greatly appreciated. Or, if someone could let me know the best place to begin our search, or the most likely place to find information. I can be reached from 10:00 AM, and 4:30 PM at 800-328-2990 ext. 3628 on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, or you can e-mail me at this address. Thank you for your help. My father has been very ill, and it has been a dream of his to visit your area and the grave site of his grandmother Anna. She died a a young age, and my grandfather left the area and changed his name to her maiden name of Miner (Meiner). Karen Mankowski

(1) How big is the Lake? (acres) (2) Are there any restrictions on the lake? (3) Is Group Camping allowed? (4) If so, how are the rates handled? (per site/per tent) (5) How do reservations work? (6) Driving directions from the Twin Cities. (7) Is there a boat launch? (8) Are docks available?

If you could answer these questions for me it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and have a great day.

Children's Show & Johnny Holm Band

Wonderful Festival Entertainment.

The Children's book series, "The Adventures of Jungle Sam", was the inspiration for "The Singin Safari Show" www.safariband.com. Disney producer, Kit Grove, now a Minnesota resident, spearheaded the creation of the project.

Being based on the books, the show is fun, and silly, and as you read the books, you will find a gentle message or two..

The show will perform in your facility, for a straight percentage of the ticket sales. Your organization will also receive 25% of CD and book sales at the concert.

So "get your clap, clap, clappers ready", Our troupe of singers, musicians and costumed characters are on their way to your town.
